In-House Accountant

Job Title: In-House Accountant (Arabic Speaker is an advantage)

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled In-House Accountant fluent in Arabic is a plus to join our team. The ideal candidate must have 10 to 14 years of accounting experience, extensive knowledge of UAE financial regulations, and fluency in Arabic is to effectively liaise with Arabic-speaking clients and regulatory authorities. The candidate must reside in Dubai to ensure prompt coordination and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, filing requirements, and other financial regulations.
• Liaise with Arabic-speaking clients, auditors, and governmental authorities for financial matters.
• Handle payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and other financial transactions.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights to management.

Requirements:

• minimum 8 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is a plus).
• Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Must currently reside in Dubai.
